Claudette Robichaud Bourque lives in Shediac with her husband Léandre. She is the mother of four and has ten grandchildren. Teaching was her career. She has known in the past and still knows a large number of young children. She realized that these children had only a vague idea of l’Acadie and the Acadians. It motivated her to write this little book, in the hope that young readers will like it.
