This book is dedicated to Jean Palmeter, 1929-2016. Jean generously shared her wonderful collection of historical photographs of Grand Pré. 

In the next few years, The Grand Pré Trails Society's wish is that the trail between Wolfville and Grand Pré, as well as the trail extending from Grand Pré over the Gaspereau River to Avonport, be completed. They want to do their part to ensure options for active transportation in the community for travel to school, activities, jobs and services, healthy living and the enjoyment of exploring the Landscape of Grand Pré, Canada's 16th UNESCO World Heritage Site.
