Armand G. Robichaud, a native of Cap-Pelé, New Brunswick, studied geography and urban planning in Moncton, Ottawa and Montreal. Since 1981, he has been director of the Beaubassin Planning Commission. He is co-author of the Ancient Buildings of the Red Sea, edited by Michel Henry (1988), as well as several articles in historical journals and professional journals. He has been involved in historical and cultural societies, in the Société des Acadiens et Acadiennes du Nouveau-Brunswick. He was a lecturer at the University of Moncton in geography and urban studies. Armand Robichaud and his wife Raymonde Chartier remain in Shediac with their two sons: Etienne (1984) and Philippe (1992).
